Hope you all are having an amazing day. So, this is a small effort
that we are taking to try and build more content on the blog. Like many of you
know, I am working and it’s a little difficult for Pooja and to keep coming up
with content together. Don’t worry we are not splitting!
But for now, be it collaborations or personal style choices,
we have decided to post as many posts as possible. So that means, sometimes you
all will see just one of us on the blog.
So let me start with my first solo, by sharing my love for
long flowing tops. Everyone’s fallen trap (in a good way) to the trend of
wearing long tops with high slits. It’s super flattering and makes a woman look
curvy and sexy. This trend is still something that entices me but I wanted to try
variations in cuts and style.
I got this top from Max Fashion within Lifestyle whilst I was shopping for my
sister’s wedding during Diwali last year. Its fit was perfect and I loved the
way it flowed on my body. The A – line top is actually a kurta that can be worn
as a shirt dress, long top or a kurta! This is one thing I love about such
tops!
In this post, I am sharing 2 looks using the same kurta. One
is with an Indian touch and the other is bold and bohemian.
For the Indian look, I am wearing jeans instead of leggings or
churidar because I personally feel kurta’s look amazing with jeans. It just
gives your body that extra lift.
In my second look, I am wearing the same kurta as a shirt
dress (the buttons don’t open; otherwise I could use it as a jacket too). I paired
it with a leather jacket and boots.
I am planning to create more such content with personal
style choices. Please feel free to let me know your suggestions regarding this.
See you soon.
