Bold Color Pops.

Statement neck pieces are EVERYWHERE! And we love the trend. It adds so much drama to an outfit. You team it with almost everything and it only adds to your entire look (although you still need to take care and choose your neck piece wisely).

A few weeks back, we got 2 statement neck pieces from Funk & Co. We instantly fell in love with both the baubles. It was so unique, so perfectly designed and so colorful!

Look 1:
The moment I saw this neck piece I decided I wanted to wear this with something simple yet edgy. It is a super spunky neck piece with colorful beads with sharp details and shimmering stones to add that spark. So I paired a white t-shirt with my draped skirt (this is just the 2nd time I am wearing this) and of course, my metallic shoes. The neck piece itself is so bright and glamorous that I decided to go with stubble shades. But, if you are daring enough you can also team these with bright colors or soft prints.

Look 2:
Pooja choose to wear the beads and emerald neck piece. It is a layered neck piece with beads in different cuts and emerald like stones beautifully tangled in gold chains. Pooja wore her bauble over a black formal shirt, which adds the perfect amount of contrast. She paired these with light blue denim and a hint of floral and beige. She has also kept her look simple, because we both wanted the neck pieces to stand out. This piece will also go with Indian outfits. Just wear a beautiful raw silk or cotton saree or a plain salwar kameez and add this beauty. Total stunner!

Comfort First.

Hey everyone!

So we have been super busy with a lot of collaborations coming up and must say we love it! A very big thank you to everyone for all the support you have given us.

Everybody loves comfortable yet fashionable outfits that do not burn a hole in our pocket. Our urge for shopping never end but money does! So we decided to share one of our new found love, Shopnineteen.com

The best thing about this website is, they always come up with new collections really soon. You will love the variety available in every category. Not to forget, they are highly reasonable in price. Here’s some of our picks from their latest collection Moonstruck.  

We are most of the time in our most comfortable attires like jeans, shorts and t-shirts. So we decided to get a shoot done in our daily and comfortable looks.

Look 1:

Pooja is a student and her maximum time is spent in the college (unless she is sleeping or playing with her rabbit at home). But otherwise she is mostly in her jeans and a top. Here she is wearing the super cute Perfectly Polka Top. This top has cut-out motifs on the sides which are more like a peek-a-boo that makes the top really chic. She also carried a bling clutch/sling along with her nerd glasses and lennon shades that add to the top.

You can wear this top maxi skirts or flared pants to give a retro look. Stack up bracelets and a over sized glasses for a perfect diva look.

Look 2:

I am wearing Pink Punch Shirt from their latest collection. I wanted a very high street look so I paired this shirt with my blue jeans and metallic pumps. I also wanted to style this shirt in such a way, which makes it perfect for a day to night look. This attire would look great at your work place as well as at a party after work. I loved the subtle color-blocking which co-incidently happened in my outfit (That’s blue, pink and green).

This shirt is extremely versatile. The color is so fresh. You can experiment with various colors for giving it a contrasting look. Add long chains with dainty lockets or give it a sexy look with a mini and sky high heels.

Doing it our way… VESA.

We are so excited to tell you about our fun collaboration with Vesa. Early morning shoot and loads of sun. 

Vesa  has always infused Indian textiles and patterns with western structures. We love how they bring a modern twist to our rich culture.

  

Look 1: 
Here I am wearing their most loved Black Stripes Net Dress. It’s a beautiful midi dress with a back slit. The dress has mesh stripes all over which make it classy as well as sexy. You can team it with heels and earrings for a classy event or pair it with shoes for an easy day look.

Right now I am super obsessed with quirky street styles and I love pairing stripes and floral together! So I wore these floral shoes which I got from Max. I have tried various elements to showcase a few ways you can team your Vesa black striped dress for the day. The dress is very versatile and when it is black it can go with anything and everything!

Look 2:

Pooja loves colors. Pooja loves everything that screams girly! Ok… I exaggerated. But yea, she was dancing when she received this cute Marble Dye Dress again from Vesa! This pretty A-line dress has a very Indian marble dye pattern on it. What makes it stand out is the unique cut out on the neckline. Pooja loved the Indian feel of the dress, so she styled them ethnic with Indian earrings and heels. Pooja also added a few other elements to the dress to create different looks.
