What’s in my Lavie bag? (Part 1)

 

So here’s an exciting post on what’s in my Lavie bag! Like many of you guys know I work for a corporate firm demands me to wear formals almost every day. It’s a typical 9 to 5 job where I need to get my lunch, and everything that is important to keep be fresh (and alive) in office.

So I got this beautiful bag from Lavie, which has many compartments sufficient to stuff my world in it. I choose this black leather which is apt for work and can go with every outfit. It’s elegant and spacious. It has tiny areas which allow me to keep my important things like my Mumbai metro card and lipstick separate and handy.

 

Okay so, my Lavie bag essentials during office are:

A bottle of water
Trust me! I always forget to drink water while I am travelling! But it is very important to keep a bottle of water with you and make a habit of drinking water often.

Few hair bands

Yes you need to be all decked up in office, but leaving your hair open can be disturbing while you are working. Try keeping colorful hair pins or hair bands and keep trying new hairdo’s with them. Tying a messy top bun is my rescue to a bad hair day or long office hours.  

My wallet!

Because, this little thing needs no explanation.

A book and a pen

This is the second diary I am using since I have joined this office. There is a lot to write, so diary and pens are a must have.

Scarves and handkerchiefs 

Since childhood my mom has been stuffing a handkerchief in my pocket the moment I leave home. Till date, before I leave for office she will never forget to ask if I had taken my hanky. Yes, more than wet wipe I use a hanky.

Scarves are only used if I am travelling or during summers or just because it looks good with my outfit!

Tiny tiffin and some chocolates 

I need something to munch on in the evening. My mommy always packs a small tiffin for me, maybe with nuts or biscuits or little hearts. This really helps me stay in the office for long.

Hand sanitizer 

This is something I forget most of the times, but everyone needs to keep hand sanitizers in their bags.

My makeup 

I don’t use a lot of make up in office. I prefer using only a BB cream, my kajal/eye liner/mascara and a lipstick or lip balm. I also keep a facewash in my bag has I have a very oily skin and during summers and rains I need to wash my face regularly.

My Mumbai metro card

Because I travel by metro daily.

What’s in my Lavie bag? (Part 2)

 

There’s nothing better than vacations! After college, I know life is going to change a lot, but that doesn’t stop me for enjoying the rains and making the most of my vacation. A normal outing for me usually means meeting all my girl friends at some café or lounge. This is followed by loads of fun and chit chat!

 

                          

My Lavie bag is super chic and flirty. It’s in a pretty shade of ocher and brightens up almost any outfit. This bag is very spacious and fits in everything I need for a girls day out.  It has a quilted pattern body which makes it look even classier. I am quite organized when it comes to storing my things. My Lavie bag has the perfect number of compartments to keep my every necessity safe.

 

 

So my Lavie bag contains:

My wallet
This is an absolute must have as I am not a person who can leave money and ATM cards and other essential in a mess.

My bottle of water

You must carry your bottle of water with you throughout the year. It keeps you hydrated not only during summers but the entire year.

My umbrella 

As it’s raining cats and dogs, do not forget your umbrella. You can fall into big trouble if you forget one.  Try out bold colors, polka dotted umbrellas or printed ones.

Hair clips and hair ties

 During rains your hair is prone to damage and frizz. It’s good to keep them tied to avoid unnecessary damage.

Pressed powder 

This is one necessary make up in my bag. Since monsoons calls in for minimal makeup, I always carry my pressed powder for touch- ups.

Earphones

I'm sure I am not the only one who needs earphones when travelling. I simply can't travel with them.So,Earphones are an absolute must have in my handbag.

Wet wipes and handkerchiefs

These are important as you need to keep wiping your face to clear the dirt and excess oil collected. Not using these might cause break outs.  So, always keep a pack of wet wipes or handkerchief to keep your face clean.

Lip balm and lipsticks

Lip balms and lipsticks are a must have for any women. Lip balms keep your lips hydrated and lipsticks add a dash of drama to your outfits. I suggest, apart from your daily lip colors, always keep a red lipstick as you never know, when you pan a party!

'Maxi'mum Love!

This time it was a long vacation for us and finally we are ready with our post featuring Stalk Buy Love.

It’s an amazing feeling to see how life has evolved. We still remember our college days where a lip balm was our only make-up and a pair of jeans and T-shirt was our style. Now, not just our friendship has become stronger but also our love (I mean for shopping, clothes, make-up and so on, over here) has grown deeper.

 

From jeans to flowing feminine gowns, from lip a balm to red lipsticks, from plain Kajal’s to eye makeup. Life has changed, and we absolutely love it!

We are celebrating our love for life, friendship and fashion with Stalk Buy Love. So, we both decided to wear gowns as we wanted this post to be special. Girl’s love their gowns, don’t they?

If you all follow me on Instagram you must noticed, I wore this Red Two To Tango Maxi Dress for my niece’s Baptism. The fit was perfect; the material looked gorgeous on me and of course the color red! I never expected I would end up loving this color so much! For this post, I wanted to keep my attire simple yet a little grungy or dark. I love dark colors, dark make-up and everything that has a touch of Goth (No, as a person I am quite cheerful). I completed my look with a black chained ear cuff and V shaped neck chain from O’keefe. These two gave the perfect amount of edge to my outfit.  

  

 

  

 

 

 

 

Pooja, on the other hand, as I mentioned earlier, loves her floral, light pastel colors, bling and all things that scream pink! She opted for a perfect summer outfit which is a mix of pastels and floral from Stalk Buy Love again! This dress is comfortable and can be worn just anywhere. Although we decided to have a very dark or vampirish look, Pooja ended up looking cute (as usual)! But we love how the pictures have come out! Pooja added a beautiful ear cuff with tiny pearl details and a dainty leaf chain from O’keefe. It is minimalistic yet chic.
