Because she deserves the BEST!

I am sure everyone is gearing up for Valentine’s Day?  Now you might wonder, why did I start with that line? You might also think you don’t have a girlfriend, or just don’t believe in Valentine’s Day. But as a child, I was once told by my teacher that Valentine’s Day is not celebrated only by couples. It is a celebration of love! It can be celebrated between parents and their children, siblings, teacher and students, children and grandparents and I think even pets and their owners!   This has been in my mind since then and I have made sure that I wish everyone I truly love on this day. Also, I feel there’s no better day to make a woman happy.

So today’s post is for all the men out there, gift your significant other something special this Valentine’s and make their day.  As we were planning a post on Valentine’s Day gifts, we came across Monisha Jaising’s latest collection “Cruise by Monisha Jaising”. Along with her latest resort wear collection, she also has an amazing collection of Luxe Sportswear.  This collection comprises of smart, effortlessly chic and is ready to wear.

From her Luxe Sportswear collection, we got our hands on this beautiful maroon t-shirt dress with exquisite crown motif.  This dress had the vibes of a perfect day dress with a hint of luxurious elegance. It is super comfortable and I could imagine women of any age wearing this.

So if you are thinking to gift your beloved something that is comfortable and yet is an absolute show stopper, Monisha Jaising’s Luxe Sportswear is your answer. Because she, DESERVES THE BEST!

DEAL with it

Hey everyone,

How have you all been? I wonder if everyone is enjoying monsoons. Pooja loves rains and on the other hand I hate them. I think that is one of the best part about having your best friend as your blogging partner. We always have two extremely different opinions.

This time we received a parcel from Deal. I am sure many have heard about this brand. They have some amazing denim collection. But having a conversation with them over emails, we realised they had a very good collection of tops as well. You can find their collection on Myntra. We chose our tops and paired them with pencil skirts.

As usual, Pooja and I had two different ideas to style them. Pooja opted for a brighter look by adding a red pencil skirt from Stalk Buy Love. This look is perfect for a beautiful evening during your getaway. She paired them with black heels. Her knotted top can be worn with shorts as well for bohemian look.

I wore my "Perfect Princess" top with a faux leather skirt which i recently bought from Koovs. I was going crazy over the sale they had! The top did make me feel like a city princess. I was thinking of a day to night look. I think such outfits can be worn at your work place as well! Swap the metallic shoes with black pumps and you are set to turn heads at your work place.

We are totally obsessing over pencil skirts these days. People might think they are not very comfortable but trust us, it can be dressed up or down effortlessly.

Hope you guys enjoyed our new post. Do let us know in our comments sections about what you feel about this post and if any new suggestions, we would love to try them.

Bye for now.

Wolves on the Streets

Hey guys!!

So here is a new post that we have come up with! We always get super excited when we see t-shirts! For us t-shirts synonyms to comfort, freedom and cool! We have collaborated with Redwolf with their super cool graphic tees!

Graphic tees are a big thing these days. Everyone wants to express themselves through them. They are so much more than just a fashion statement.

Firstly, I loved their brand name; wolves have always been so sexy and mystical. These t-shirts are inspired by the crazily popular series “Game of Thrones”. So all you Game of Thrones fans, do check their website right away. They got some really cool stuff!

Their merchandise is inspired by the popular art, series and bands. Their designs are subtle artistic. They obviously have much more than t-shirts! You can check out their sweatshirt collection, badges, posters, and they all are so funky!

You all should check out their collection! They are reasonably priced and as I said, one of the best ways to express yourself.

P.S – I love their packaging too!

Layers

Hello everyone,

First of all wish you all a very happy new year. Hope you all have a lovely year ahead with loads of surprises and success.

So, after a long time we shot for our new blog post. Since it is winter now…well almost! We decided to post something related to it. Mumbai winters don’t let you experiment with a lot of woolen and fur, but I did notice, (blame it on social media influence) people have been layering their clothes amazingly. I travel everyday to office and I see so many of them with such unique styles. They are such an inspiration!

We choose layers as a theme for our first post of 2016. In my everyday trot and some random surfing on the net, I found layering your clothes is one of the best ways to keep your wardrobe forever new.  Layering clothes is not a new concept, but it has gone through drastic revolutions and people have been crazy with their styles.

We too wanted to experiment with layers and this time we went a step ahead by getting our dear friend Kewal with us. He is the first person who actually advised me to start blogging. We can never thank him enough for this.

Kewal choose to wear a cardigan with a printed t-shirt from Myntra. He wore grey pants and my favourite his studded brown slip-ons from Koovs. He wore similar shades and let the shoes do all the talking.

Pooja wore a pretty grey turtle neck top from Stalk Buy Love. She layered her top with a white stole and paired it with denim and Brogues. She carried her Lavie bag to add a touch of pastels to her outfit.

I choose to wear my shirt dress from Stalk Buy Love as a as a long jacket. With a summery tank top I wore my black jeans and carried my Rhysetta sling. I saw this super stylish black hat at Kewal’s house and I immediately incorporated that in my outfit. I loved it!

Finally talking about our new collaboration, Kashtag Photography took our looks to the nines with their amazing clicks. Can’t way for more collaboration with them! The best part was they also created a video for our promotions. Do have a look at it!

Hope you guys like the blog and show us how you guys layer your outfits!
Good bye for now.

Celebrations

Festive time is round the corner and everyone is shopping for the best clothes. Since there are so many festivals lined up, we planned to give a traditional twist to our outfits from one of our favourite brands MissaMore.

We both decided to wear these gorgeous long front slit tops from their latest collection and added Indian traditional elements to it. Being from the land of rich cultures and extravagant outfits, we always wear our best traditional outfits for festivals. From sarees to chuddidars and chaniya choli’s the list can go on and on.

Again switching personalities, Pooja wore a dark solid ensemble whereas I went for a brighter shade with colorful prints.
Pooja wore her slit top with white chuddidar and beautiful pearl chandbali’s. She added a bindi to give an eternal look to the outfit. She chooses to wear flats as festivals call in for a lot of running around here and there. Wear elegant heels over them and you will totally rock this outfit.

I wore my slit top with black flared pants and golden jhumka’s. I was planning to wear bangles but couldn’t find them at the last moment. Wear your favourite sunglasses and you are perfect for a day celebration. I preferred not to add too many accessories as the dress has a lot of detail.

The best part about these tops are, they are super comfortable and versatile. Wear it over jeans or shorts and they are perfect for any day.
