Festive time is round the corner and everyone is shopping for the best clothes. Since there are so many festivals lined up, we planned to give a traditional twist to our outfits from one of our favourite brands MissaMore.

We both decided to wear these gorgeous long front slit tops from their latest collection and added Indian traditional elements to it. Being from the land of rich cultures and extravagant outfits, we always wear our best traditional outfits for festivals. From sarees to chuddidars and chaniya choli’s the list can go on and on.

Again switching personalities, Pooja wore a dark solid ensemble whereas I went for a brighter shade with colorful prints. 

Pooja wore her slit top with white chuddidar and beautiful pearl chandbali’s. She added a bindi to give an eternal look to the outfit. She chooses to wear flats as festivals call in for a lot of running around here and there. Wear elegant heels over them and you will totally rock this outfit.

 

I wore my slit top with black flared pants and golden jhumka’s. I was planning to wear bangles but couldn’t find them at the last moment. Wear your favourite sunglasses and you are perfect for a day celebration. I preferred not to add too many accessories as the dress has a lot of detail.

The best part about these tops are, they are super comfortable and versatile. Wear it over jeans or shorts and they are perfect for any day.

Perception

Every individual is different and so is their sense of style.  We see so many people wearing similar clothes, but how you add a touch of your personal style makes the outfit a hit.

 

For this blog, we thought of experimenting with our post, where we tried to style one outfit in two different ways. Basically, to show how Pooja and I might see the same outfit in different ways and for different occasions.

 

Pooja wore a checkered dress with her favorite glasses and converse for a very sporty high street look. She could imagine wearing this for a fun day out with her girlfriends. On the other hand, my perception of this dress was something I could wear to work on a cold winter day.  (These geeky glasses are not for fashion, they are my spare spectacles. I don’t like them much).

 

We also wore the very famous long slit top that we can’t get enough of. The minute houndstooth details on the on the top that gave it a beautiful pattern and flow. Pooja choose various shades of blue to style this top and went heavy on accessories. She chooses earrings from Circuzz and neck accessories from Funk &Co. to add glamour to her outfit.

I could see this top more like walking on the streets LA with minimum statement accessories and perfect heels to go with. I choose these beautiful turquoise earrings and a delicate chain with crystals inside (which I thought was a very unique design).  Paired my metallic pumps with these and was ready to hit the streets of LA (LOL! Someday).

How is summer treating all of you?

Summer calls for chilled juices, flowing dresses and loads and loads of sunscreen! We know skincare is necessary, but to be honest, it is okay to go out in the sun with your best summer dresses and just have fun!

Everybody is planning for a vacation. Most of them must have already left for one! But does everyone decide what to wear for their breezy summer vacations?

Today we want to share about one of our favorite brands Missa More. Its new summer collection has beautiful prints and soothing colors. The collection is so good, it was very difficult to choose anyone.  

 

Look 1: 

I loved the trends being displayed at Coachella. They were so comfortable and effortless. So I paired Missa More Button it down shirt dress with a denim skirt and a bright pink top. I also added a thigh chain which I absolutely loved from Not Just Tiaras. The tasseled thigh chain can dress up almost any outfit. I wore my shirt dress as a cape and added a belt over it to highlight my waist. I love the prints on the maxi dress and the way I can style it in many ways. You can wear it over your jeans, shorts; wear the dress as it is… or the way I styled it.  

                  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Look 2:

Now, it is not always necessary to show skin if you are out for a vacation. Slit tops have become a must have in your closet now. This beautifully textured slit top from Missa More immediately caught our eyes. The colors were so perfect for summer! Slit tops can be worn with various kinds of bottoms, but Pooja wanted to keep the style simple and paired it with Black pants and heels. She carried a royal blue sling bag to add a pop of solid color. Feather earring from Not Just Tiaras; add that breezy summery effect to her outfit. She loved these earrings because they give a very funky look to the outfit. Pair them with shorts and you are ready for a beach party, pair them with pants/ palazzo’s you are perfect for a sunny day, pair them with an Indian bottom and it creates the perfect Indian look with a twist.
