Layers

Hello everyone,

First of all wish you all a very happy new year. Hope you all have a lovely year ahead with loads of surprises and success.

So, after a long time we shot for our new blog post. Since it is winter now…well almost! We decided to post something related to it. Mumbai winters don’t let you experiment with a lot of woolen and fur, but I did notice, (blame it on social media influence) people have been layering their clothes amazingly. I travel everyday to office and I see so many of them with such unique styles. They are such an inspiration!

We choose layers as a theme for our first post of 2016. In my everyday trot and some random surfing on the net, I found layering your clothes is one of the best ways to keep your wardrobe forever new.  Layering clothes is not a new concept, but it has gone through drastic revolutions and people have been crazy with their styles.

We too wanted to experiment with layers and this time we went a step ahead by getting our dear friend Kewal with us. He is the first person who actually advised me to start blogging. We can never thank him enough for this.

Kewal choose to wear a cardigan with a printed t-shirt from Myntra. He wore grey pants and my favourite his studded brown slip-ons from Koovs. He wore similar shades and let the shoes do all the talking.

Pooja wore a pretty grey turtle neck top from Stalk Buy Love. She layered her top with a white stole and paired it with denim and Brogues. She carried her Lavie bag to add a touch of pastels to her outfit.

I choose to wear my shirt dress from Stalk Buy Love as a as a long jacket. With a summery tank top I wore my black jeans and carried my Rhysetta sling. I saw this super stylish black hat at Kewal’s house and I immediately incorporated that in my outfit. I loved it!

Finally talking about our new collaboration, Kashtag Photography took our looks to the nines with their amazing clicks. Can’t way for more collaboration with them! The best part was they also created a video for our promotions. Do have a look at it!

Hope you guys like the blog and show us how you guys layer your outfits!
Good bye for now.

Isn't it veryyy hot and humid these days? With the temperature in Mumbai only getting higher we know exactly what you need, we bring in some outfits to beat the heat when you go out for a brunch Why So Blue.

So, Linnet decided to go all bold with her outfit and make-up and of course those pair of wow heels!!! Here she is wearing a black sweatshirt and a cute skirt which has floral prints on it from Why So Blue. She completed her rock chic look with amazingly gorgeous pair of white heels and bold lips. You can also pair this skirt with a plain colored top which matches a little with the skirt or can opt for a contrast with cool oxfords and you are good to go girl!

On the other hand, Pooja wore a lace top along with a statement gold and black neck-piece again from Why So Blue. She wore her high waist pants which she recently got stitched from one of her designer. Yes, you can get your jeans stitched as per your wish and they fit like a dream!!! When Vogue meets Vogue

Hey! Hey! Hey!

Yet another day where we got to do something we love.

So our photographers love Aaray Colony and keep insisting on going there for a shoot. Though I am a sucker for scenic locations I am lazy when it comes to travelling. Finally I listen to them and we head towards Aaray.

I woke up with a heavy head that morning but the beautiful and mysterious roads of Aaray blew my mind. Pooja was excited too, as the roads looked like those typical Bollywood scenes where the actors would romance with each other.

Talking about our outfits now, we decided to wear our super comfortable and stylish pieces from Vogue and Me for this shoot.

Pooja wore a box pleated skirt from their collection and paired it with a simple blue top. She carries a beautiful white Lotus giving her outfit a feminine touch. She added closed toed wedges with floral details on it.  Lately Pooja has been wearing a lot of monotones. She loves playing with shades of blue and red (This is what I have noticed).

I selected this LBD from their collection which has #OOTN printed on it. I loved how easy the entire look of the dress was. I could imagine wearing this shift dress almost every day! The cuts are so clean and perfect for a day to night look. I paired them with my new slip on’s that I purchased from KOOVS

After all the cow dung’s and mosquito bites, we managed to get some beautiful shots at Aaray. I am sure our photographers are happy now.  :)

Celebrations

Festive time is round the corner and everyone is shopping for the best clothes. Since there are so many festivals lined up, we planned to give a traditional twist to our outfits from one of our favourite brands MissaMore.

We both decided to wear these gorgeous long front slit tops from their latest collection and added Indian traditional elements to it. Being from the land of rich cultures and extravagant outfits, we always wear our best traditional outfits for festivals. From sarees to chuddidars and chaniya choli’s the list can go on and on.

Again switching personalities, Pooja wore a dark solid ensemble whereas I went for a brighter shade with colorful prints.
Pooja wore her slit top with white chuddidar and beautiful pearl chandbali’s. She added a bindi to give an eternal look to the outfit. She chooses to wear flats as festivals call in for a lot of running around here and there. Wear elegant heels over them and you will totally rock this outfit.

I wore my slit top with black flared pants and golden jhumka’s. I was planning to wear bangles but couldn’t find them at the last moment. Wear your favourite sunglasses and you are perfect for a day celebration. I preferred not to add too many accessories as the dress has a lot of detail.

The best part about these tops are, they are super comfortable and versatile. Wear it over jeans or shorts and they are perfect for any day.
